As I have been going through My Ultimate Bucket List trying to figure out which items are more practical to accomplish first, I realized just how many of these things I could do today if I wanted to. Since I have entered into the mindset that I do not want to wait until “someday” to live my life, I have compiled a list of fifty items that I could easily complete within the year. Now, of course, this is not to say that I won’t necessarily complete other items on My Ultimate Bucket List. I am just very confident that the items on this narrowed down list are easily obtainable now or in the very near future. So, with the deadline of one year, join me in setting out to conquer the following:
- Learn a new language
- Reach my goal weight
- Send a message in a bottle
- Get a tattoo
- Run a marathon and finish
- Take a day trip to a wildlife reserve
- Start a blog and keep it going for a year
- Have a pen pal in another country
- Learn CPR
- Fall asleep under the stars with someone you love
- Have a water balloon fight
- Visit the local Humane Society and play with the animals
- Donate money to a worthy cause
- Kiss under mistletoe
- Go to a rodeo
- Fly a kite
- Dance on a bar
- Go camping
- Volunteer at a homeless shelter
- Give blood
- Make homemade ice cream
- Learn self-defense
- Inner tube down a lazy river
- Take a pottery class
- Learn a magic trick
- Canoe down a river
- Create a new recipe
- Learn to juggle
- Volunteer at a hospital
- Make an investment in something
- Pay it forward every day for one week
- Serenade someone in public
- Read a story at an elderly community
- Try every flavor of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream
- Renovate an old piece of furniture
- Go to a food festival
- Master my physical fitness level
- Take toys to a children’s hospital
- Tie messages to a bunch of balloons and let them go
- Make a bucket list
- Write a letter to myself and open it in ten years
- Go to a live auction and place a bid
- Cash in a winning lottery ticket or scratch off
- Go to a jazz club
- Read the Bible
- Learn to ice skate
- See a solar eclipse (August 21, 2017)
- Sing at a karaoke club
- Go to a paint & sip
- Go to Mardi Gras
